The story

When the meadow starts to fade, Bea sets out to find her friends — Flit the butterfly, Hum the hummingbird, and Poppy the flower — and discovers that none of them can thrive alone. Carrying pollen from bloom to bloom, they bring the whole meadow back to life. It’s a gentle first look at how living things depend on each other, told as a story kids will want to read again and again. Story first, science woven in, never preachy.

What kids take away

Real pollination science — how bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds move pollen and why flowers need them — wrapped in a warm story about friendship and helping each other. Perfect for parents, teachers, and homeschoolers introducing nature and cooperation.
